Plain and simple, looks nice! Has a familiar touch to it :).

Congrats on your new start! Maybe you should 'test' your logo without the "Weisscher design" context attached. Just show it to 20 random people and ask what they associate the logo with? I do like it. I like the colours, any meaning to them? And do the three 'bars' respresent something specific? Like three main areas of design you'll be working in (just guessing here)?

Thanks Karin. You have other associations with the logo? Colours do not have a specific meaning apart from intending to feel 'fresh'. The logo is supposed to be a 'W' from Weisscher. The three lines indeed represent the three things I do: ux research, ux design, ux implementation. Really impressed you managed to interpret that ;) And thirdly it is supposed to resemble a tulip for Dutch design. Pity is that as one of my students mentioned: it does look a bit like the Dutch Design Week logo. http://www.dutchdesignweek.nl/

Hmmm, it does look like the Dutch Design week logo, but I didn't recognize it as such. I did recognize the W though. I asked Eise (without telling the context) and he associated it (by himself) with tulips and the letter W. So well done! One more thing I associate the logo with is web (design), and not with other types of design (e.g. prototypes, tangible objects, graphics).

Any interesting assignments yet?

Cheers!

@karin Thanks for the user testing ;) Need to think a bit about it. And yes, am actually very busy on different assignments. Good start!
